Panda, Panda

panda, panda
do you see
when the stars shine
bright for you

human, human
I see bamboo
for me to eat,
I see a lake
filled with
fresh water
for me to drink
and I see my
baby panda cub
staring back at me

My Mother

The best thing about my mother is that she is really nice and I can always trust her. I love her a lot. She is really, really cool. My mom is special because she is really nice.

She gets me nice stuff, but I like her for who she is. She is the best mom I could ever hope to have. I love her very, very, very, very much.

She makes cool food. She is a good cook. She makes awesome chocolate cake. She is awesome. I feel that she is magnificently fantastic. I am so lucky to have her!

Thank You!

To my fifth grader friend who helped me with blogging:

It was really fun to come in and blog with you. We got alot of stuff done. We both like video games and writing about them. The comic strips we wrote were really really cool and I loved them. I am going to miss you. Good luck in middle school!

Awesome Summer Vacation!

This summer I am going to go to Camp Hale and that is a neat place. It has boating, fishing, hiking and swimming. Then I will go to Zoo Camp for the last two weeks. I don’t know if you do anything else there but at least one of the things you do is feed safe animals. I hope that they tell you the right food to give to the animals because it would take me a while to figure it out. It’ll be a pretty neat summer!

How To Do Glitches

A glitch is when you do cheats in a video game. A cheat lets you go through a certain wall. If you get blown up, you don't die. Also when you keep jumping on a wall it will get you out of the level. Cheats give you a better advantage in the game. I think that game developers planned some cheats on purpose, but some are mistakes. I hope you like what I wrote.

Pokeman Crater - Newest Website I Found

You can play on Pokemon Crater absolutely free. It's for kids of all ages. If you go into maps, you can move around and catch Pokemon. If you go into gyms, you won't be able to catch Pokemon, but you can get badges. When you get all the badges, you can have your very own team of six Pokemon. When you have your own full team, you can catch Pokemon. My name in the game is harrythehorse. Visit it at http://www.pokemoncrater.com/

Horses

Pretty horses prance
around and around
in the paddock
in spring and summer.

Graceful horses gallop
in the arena
in winter and fall
at the barn.

Tall horses trot

Appreciating Teachers

It is Teacher's Appreciation Week and some of the students have messages to pass along...
I would like to thank my teacher for making this a great school year. I especially liked reading and music.
(a fourth grader)
Thank you for taking me to the motor room. It helps make my day.
(a second grader)
Thank you to my second grade teacher for teaching me all about butterflies and letting us take care of them. I learned how butterflies live and what they eat to survive. At the farm in Maine, I sometimes get Monarch butterflies. The knowledge I learned in second grade helps me to know what to feed them and how to take care of them.
(a fifth grader)

Thank you for helping me on my work. You show me how to do some math.

Pajama day at Hosmer School

One of the fun days at Hosmer School is pajama day. On pajama day some people wear their pajamas at school. Some people feel embarrassed and sometimes they want to make fun of themselves. Even some of the teachers wear their pajamas. Some people think it is fun. I think pajama day is just a normal day at the Hosmer School.

I like blogging because people read my work. People all over the world read my blog. It makes me happy. It makes me want to write more.

I like to blog because I get to share my ideas with the world instead of just the school. Also I get to teach everybody tons of things, like how to make things. I love teaching people. I also get to have my ideas reach places on the other side of the world. That is so cool.

What I Would Do If I Were Principal of Hosmer School

If I were principal of Hosmer School, I would be excited because I could help kids. First I would make the school bigger. I would make the classrooms bigger. I would add televisions and more computers. Next, I would add materials like cool pencils and scanners. Right now the lockers are small and yellow. I would make them bigger and colorful. I would add a radio to them so kids could listen to music. My most favorite thing to do would be to add more recess. I would be the best principal in the world.

How to Create a Villain

If you want to create a villain, you need to give him a name like Flame Thrower. Next, you would give him powers like throwing flames and flying. Then, you would him a costume that might have flames on it. Last but not least, figure out how he got his powers. So now you have a villain! Next we will talk about side kicks.

Basketball in the Morning

I was shooting hoops this morning. I am really good. I was doing slam-dunks. I was doing slamaroos. A slamaroo is when you spin around and do a slam-dunk. Also I did the super stuff. I invented this move. To do this shot you leap off a trampoline and slam-dunk. I feel energized when I play basketball in the morning.

Club Penguin

Club Penguin is a website where you can talk to kids. You talk by typing what you want to say. You can play games with your friends. My favorite game is sledding. You race each other down the hill. You can have a buddy list. It is your friends you play with. You can earn money by playing games. Next, you buy stuff for your penguin or your igloo. Club Penguin is a cool game. I recommend it to you!

Do You Know About Club Penguin?

Club Penguin is really cool. Clubpenguin.com is how you get on. Just press "play now" and then press "Don't have a Penguin." That's how you do it. Click on someone. See what happens.

If you become a member, you will be able to buy stuff. Do not tell someone your password, something bad could happen! If you want to get coins, then play games to earn coins. You can buy stuff with the coins in stores. There are two stores you can buy your penguin clothes.

I go on because it is really fun. You can look at people's penguins. Oh, I forgot to tell you. It is a world wide thing!!! That's the best part.

More information at clubpenguin.com. See Ya!!!

How to Create a Super Hero

If you want to make up a super hero, you first have to think of a personality and turn it's facts into powers. Like say you are making a super hero that has hippo powers. It could have a huge mouth, long teeth and could run and swim pretty fast. This is your first step to creating a super hero. Next, you have to give it a snazzy name like Hippo Harold. Finally, you have to give it a cool outfit. Hippo Harold would have a big brown suit with two red H's on his chest. If you would like, you could give him a cape or a mask. Boom! You have a hero!

Why games?

Games are important to kids because they allow kids to play and let their imaginations run wild! Zoo Tycoon is perfect for that. In Zoo Tycoon you can be in charge of a zoo. It'll let kids go wild without the jungle! Zoo Tycoon, rated:E for everyone. Do you like Zoo Tycoon?

Leprechauns

Leprechauns wear green. They are friendly also. They wear brown boots and belt. Leprechauns are very small in size, a little bigger than a baby. They wear a green hat with a black belt around it. Leprechauns lead you to a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow. Irish people were the first to believe in Leprechauns.

The Amazing Quesadilla!

Do you like food? Then you have to try a quesadilla. It is a kind of Mexican food. Let me tell you how to make one. First, get some cheese, tortillas, salsa, and a spoon. You can add anything else to it, except candy and chocolate. I like to put peas in mine. Next, put a pan on the stove and turn it on to medium heat. Then put one tortilla on the pan. Next, you would use the spoon to put salsa on your tortilla. Sprinkle on the cheese and beans. You next put on another layer of salsa. Then put on anything else you would like in it. Finally fold it up and eat it. YUM!!!!!!

Around the World Magic

I like a certain game. It's about magic and it is an online game so anyone can play. You can create characters on the Alliance which is made up of night elves, humans, gnomes, dwarfs, and dreinie (pronounced dreni). Another group is the Horde and it's made up of dreinieorcs, trolls, undead, tauren, and blood elves (you can create Horde also). There are quests and holidays. There are a lot of monsters too. I play this game because it has magic. Do you know have a favorite game?
